I do wonder, however, that having seen some listings that really didn’t match up to the product that this joke totally comes from the truth.
Why would you want to misrepresent a home? It might get someone in the door, but they’d be posses when they actually saw the place. Not much of a selling point in my opinion…

It is a great waste of time to get to a property and find it disappointing, based on the advertised product.
Being honest would seem to be the better way to go for everyone.

This cartoon is very funny, but sadly, it is not much of an exaggeration!
@artistry, I agree. The seller should just be honest. Deliberately misleading potential buyers is disrespectful.
But I imagine sellers think they will get more prospective buyers to at least look at the property, thereby increasing their odds of finding someone who is desperate enough to take what they offer.
