Please tell me this place has a level-back alley?
But honestly, I love the idea of having stairs leading up to my house. It would be a pain in the butt when it came to moving in but every day would be kinda sweet. Good exercise! Good way to start the day.
But who am I really kidding? Give me a condo with an awesome gym facility anyday!

“Please tell me this place has a level-back alley? ”
Absolutely not!!…that would be considered cheating!!
I wouldn’t want to deal with that after a few cocktails at happy hour! I couldn’t imagine having to leave for work an hour early just so I can make it down all the steps to my car! Talk about a morning commute.
Oh my! You couldn’t live in this house if you were elderly! It’s like climbing a mountain everyday, several times a day!
I don’t think this house would be a good buy. Whether you have elders or children in your house, the long stairs going to the house would lead to accidents waiting to happen. The stairs are really an eyesore and reduce the value of this property. Just because of the stairs, the property is inconvenient both for the guests and the homeowners.
Wow, just looking at all of those steps makes me winded! I can also imagine what it must be like after a snowfall, having to clean off those steps….
Well let’s think about it.
Gym membership per year 350$
Gas to commute per year to gym 150$
for 20 years with inflation bias taken in consideration (40%)
around 14000$ saved.
can the price drops
Oh my goodness! Can you imagine how upset the Fedex delivery person is going to be? Probably not as upset as I’d be once I checked the mailbox, came back in, then realized that I forget to set something out to be mailed.
oh, jeez. Forget that. That staircase is ridiculous. I really don’t think I could do that climb everyday.
So… it’s the same as living in an apartment building with no elevator?
GaryG, not only FedEx delivery man will be upset. All delivery staffs will surely decline orders to deliver anything to this house.
Going down would be fun, going up, you might not make it. This is most creative. Great exercise, if you needed it. I like the “promise you won’t get pregnant” part. Excellent piece. Thanks for sharing. Would love to know who purchased it.
